Renovation Schedule | 2026
The West River Community Center (WRCC) will be undergoing important renovations to keep our facility in excellent condition for years to come. Please know that the renovation schedule will be very fluid and will change as needed. The WRCC staff will do its best in keeping this page updated as the projects proceed. RENOVATION TIMELINE & UPDATES
12/1/25 – 1/21/26: WOMEN’S LOCKER ROOM was closed for renovation. Drainage issue will be addressed during the August 10-16 maintenance week closure.
1/21/26 – 3/6/26: MEN’S LOCKER ROOM was closed for renovation.
3/11/26-4/21/26 UPDATE: FAMILY LOCKER ROOM was closed for renovation.
4/27 – 6/2/26: LOBBY RENOVATION. April 27 to June 2.
6/2/26: Lobby will re-open on Tuesday, June 2.
ALTERNATE FACILITY ENTRANCE
Facility Entrance: Patio entrance – Door #20. You will enter and exit through this door.
Check‑In & Assistance: The WRCC Control Desk will be temporarily located in Community Room Two. Patrons can sign in, ask membership questions, and receive assistance at this location.
Facility Access: After checking in, patrons will use the Community Room Pool Access Door to enter the facility and proceed through the family locker room to access the facility. When the pool area is open, all locker rooms will provide full access/exit to and from the facility.
Exiting the Facility: When leaving the WRCC, patrons will exit through the family locker room, use the Community Room Pool Access Door, and then exit through the Community Room Patio Doors to return to the parking lot.
Additional Information
Pool Area Access: Access to the Leisure Pool, Lap Pool, Hot Tub, Sauna, and Steam Room will be restricted to normal pool hours only. We will have the pool amenities hours posted in each locker room for your reference. The men’s and women’s locker rooms will remain locked until the pool area opens each day.
Family Locker Room: During the renovation process, the family locker room will be a high‑traffic area and will be used as a primary entrance and exit for the facility. Patrons are welcome to use the family locker room for changing; however, please be aware that it will be more heavily traveled than usual. For privacy, we kindly ask patrons to use enclosed or closed changing areas when available and be mindful of others when entering or exiting the space.
Morning Coffee: Coffee service will continue in Community Room One.
Restrooms: Available in locker rooms or second floor.
Vending machines: Out of use during this period.
Party Rentals: No birthday party reservations with be held or taken for this period.
ATM Machine Access: ATM will be in Community Room Two.
Emergency Exit: All emergency exits are still available as needed.

Other renovations you can expect in 2026 are a replacement of the Leisure Pool play structure and Leisure Pool flooring, lighting replacements, new HVAC controllers, and new carpet throughout the facility.
