Renovation Schedule | 2025-2026
The West River Community Center (WRCC) will be undergoing important renovations to keep our facility in excellent condition for years to come. Please know that the renovation schedule will be very fluid and will change as needed. The WRCC staff will do its best in keeping this page updated as the projects proceed. RENOVATION TIMELINE & UPDATES
12/1/25 – 1/21/26: WOMEN’S LOCKER ROOM – CLOSED for renovation.
1/21/26 UPDATE: WOMEN’S LOCKER ROOM IS OPEN. MEN’S LOCKER ROOM IS NOW CLOSED. Men’s locker room is officially closed with demo going on this week into next. Lighting continues to be replaced throughout the facility.
1/28/26 UPDATE: Women’s locker room is completed, there is a drainage issue with the shower troughs and floor drains, this will most likely be addressed during August 10-16 clean week. Men’s locker room remains closed with demo still being done this week, anticipated completion date of March 9. Lighting continues to be replaced throughout the facility. Upstairs restroom demo and reno will tentatively begin February 5. One upstairs restroom will still remain operational, upon completion, the other restroom will begin demo and reno.
2/4/26 UPDATE: The walking track around the basketball court will be closed off for lighting renovation. Men’s locker room is on schedule to be completed for the March 9th transition from Men’s to Family locker room. They will be painting in the Men’s with some epoxy demo next week. Starting February 9th, demo will start on the upstairs bathroom, one at a time. Work on lighting continues throughout the facility, they have completed the tennis courts and are working on the walking track.
2/11/26 UPDATE: Men’s locker room is on schedule to be completed for the March 9th transition from Men’s to Family locker room. Painting, tile work, and plumbing currently being completed with epoxy demo taking place tomorrow. Renovation continues in the upstairs restroom, one at a time. Lighting replacements continue through the facility.
2/18/26 UPDATE: Men’s locker room is on schedule to be completed for the March 9th transition from Men’s to Family locker room. Epoxy flooring is currently being installed. Renovation continues in the upstairs restroom, with one of them being completed by tomorrow, at which point the other will be closed for renovations. Lighting replacements continue through the facility.
2/25/26 UPDATE: Men’s locker room is on schedule to be completed early for a March 6th opening, with Family locker room demolition beginning March 9th. Epoxy flooring currently being finished. Renovation continues in the upstairs restroom, with the other one opened back up and fully renovated. Lighting replacements continue throughout the building.
3/4/26 UPDATE: Men’s locker room is on schedule to be completed early for a March 6th opening, with Family locker room demolition beginning March 9th. Renovation continues in the upstairs restroom, with the other one opened back up and fully renovated. Lighting replacements continue.
3/11/26 UPDATE: Family locker room demolition is underway. Both upstairs restrooms are back open and operational. Lighting replacements continue.

Watch for renovations throughout the building that include lighting replacements, men’s locker room, family locker room, upstairs restrooms, lobby restrooms and lobby renovations.
Other renovations you can expect in 2026 are a replacement of the Leisure Pool play structure and Leisure Pool flooring, new HVAC controllers, and new carpet throughout the facility.
