Outdoor Season  

May 29-August 16, 2026 

HOURS: Daily 12:00-7:00 pm, weather permitting.

  • Safety Breaks: 10-min. safety breaks 10 minutes prior to the top of the hour (ex. 12:50-1:00 pm).
  • When the outdoor pool is open, the indoor lap/leisure pool will be open for adult swim and lap swim only.
  • For inclement weather – see policy below.

Cancellations or Changes to posted schedule:

  • July 4 – close at 5:30 pm

Entry Fees

  • Outdoor pool is included in a WRCC membership.
  • Adult Day Pass (19+) | $9.00
  • Youth Day Pass (2-18) | $7.00
  • College Day Pass (w/ student ID) | $8.00
  • Senior Day Pass (60+) | $8.00
  • Spectator Fee | $5.00
  • Twilight Pass | $5.00 
  • Twilight Passes will be sold after 5:00 pm and may only be used during 5-7 pm. Twilight passes will be sold for $5 per person regardless of age or if you’re spectating.

Water Walking

Water Walking will be available every Monday, Wednesday & Friday.

  • Time: 11:00 am-12:00 pm
    (you are welcome to stay for the regular daily session that begins at 12 pm)
  • NO WATER WALKING: June 17, July 15, August 12
  • Fee: Normal day pass or a WRCC membership
  • Access: You will have access to the locker rooms, lazy river and the big open area in the middle.

Toddler Swim

  • Time: 11:00 am-12:00 pm
    (You are welcome to stay for the regular daily session that begins at 12:00 pm.)
  • Fee: Normal day pass or WRCC membership
  • Ages: Ages 0–7 only (with a parent or guardian)
    Children ages 8 and older must wait until the regular daily session begins.
  • Capacity: Limited to 50 participants
  • Access: You will have access to the locker rooms, kiddie pool, and play feature area (no lazy river, slides, large open pool area or concessions).

Inclement Weather Policy

Management will clear the pool and/or close if any of the following apply:

  • The current temperature is 68 or colder.
  • Heavy rain makes it difficult to see the bottom of the pool.
  • There is an electrical storm. *We use a 30-minute timer after each lightning/thunder.
  • There is a tornado warning.
  • There is low attendance.

— *Full pool closure will be made at management’s discretion. Factors involved in the decision will be: Time of day, indoor pool schedule, current head count of patrons, future weather outlook by radar.

— For updates on pool closures, please download the Dickinson Park District App as mentioned above.

— We will make a call at 10:00 am if the pool will be open for the regular noon opening. 

If the pool doesn’t open at noon due to any of the reasons above, we will re-evaluate and make a call at 3:00 pm for evening swim from 4:00-7:00 pm.

Rules & Regulations

  • Scheduled safety breaks the last 10-min of every hour.
  • No outside food/beverages are allowed.
  • A child 7 & under must be accompanied by a person 16 or older.
  • Underage 2 and not fully toilet trained must wear a swim diaper.
  • Life jackets may be worn; US Coast Guard Approved only (we do not provide).
  • We strongly encourage all members to bring their key tags or download the Dickinson Park District app to help expedite the check-in process.

We Do Not Allow:

  • Cotton Clothing (jeans, khakis, t-shirts, etc.)
  • Water wings
  • Toys (diving rings, boats, buckets, torpedoes, splash balls, etc.)
  • Additional rules are posted in the pool area.

Outdoor Pool Amenities:

  • 3 Water Slides

  • Play features include water sprays, jets and water falls
  • Zero depth entry is great for small children and wheelchair access
