While a walk may not seem like much to many, a walk’s physical and mental health benefits are numerous, especially for parents and guardians of children. This is a walking group aiming to help navigate the always winding road of being a parent or care giver through fellowship and focus on overall health. Bring your littles and come make a new friend while taking a guided walk with one of our instructors. All grown-ups and littles are welcome. No pets allowed. DAYS/TIME: June, July and August on Tuesdays 9:00 am and Wednesdays at 6:00 pm. LOCATION: WRCC Leisure Trail (meet in the MAC gym before going outside) (location has been moved from Patterson Lake to WRCC) FREE program - no registration required.
This is a great introduction to Taekwondo. Kicks, punches and sparring movement and forms are taught. Our classes are a great way to get into shape and more than the average "gym" workout. Classes are fun, yet physically and mentally challenging. You do not have to be in shape to start. Come and reduce stress, build confidence, improve your health and positively impact every area of your life. Adult and children ages 5-14 are welcome. Ages 5-14 must be with a participating adult. -All Levels
Mommy & Me is a class for moms, dads, and caregivers to move their bodies and bond with their little ones ages 6 weeks & up. Workouts are created to support postpartum healing. Baby wearing is allowed. -All Levels
Kids Fit is back! Effective September 6th, Kids Fit will resume with our normal schedule of Wednesdays at 9:15 am. Join us for Kids Fit! Kids ages 3-5 will spend time engaging in activities that will help them develop their gross motor skills, such as walking on a balance beam, jumping, and crawling. We will also spend time learning about colors, numbers, or animals. We kindly ask that parents join in during class time to help your child(ren) gain as much as possible from our program.
